As an educator and facilitator, I'm driven by one thing: helping young people discover that their voice matters. The open mic is a mini rite of passage — every young person deserves safe passage to expression, and the chance to be heard exactly as they are.
I work with creative young people who have a keen interest in exploring their art, as well as those who don't yet see themselves as "writers" or "performers" — because often, that's exactly where the most valuable work happens. I work with all genders, drawing on my experience as a teacher and facilitator — including my work with The Man Cave, where I was their first-ever female facilitator working with teenage boys in schools.
